Conférence de presse: Rétrospective et revendications de la Patiente Vertriedung asbl

La Patiente Vertriedung absl a invité aujourd'hui mardi 3 octobre 2017 à sa conférence de presse de "la rentrée".
Cette conférence de presse avait comme thèmes la rétrospective sur les activités en 2017 et les revendications pour 2018.
Ces revendications concrètes s'adressent à la "quadripartite" qui aura lieu le 18 octobre 2017.


Patients in Cross-border Healthcare Survey

If you are a patient who may have experience with planned cross-border healthcare in another EU Member State, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein in the last four years, you are kindly invited to participate in a study on enhancing information provision to patients in cross-border health services. This study is being conducted by Ecorys, Gfk and the University of Leuven on behalf of the European Commission.

One objective of the study is to explore patients’ experiences with gathering information on cross-border healthcare. By doing this they want to provide a better understanding of the importance of good information provision to patients during the process of planned medical treatment abroad. 

The survey is completely anonymous. Please do not provide any personal data. Participation in this stu
dy is voluntary. You are free to leave the survey page and withdraw your participation at any time. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason.

Crossborder healthcare

Ever since the introduction of the EU directive 2011/24/UE on cross boarder healthcare, patients have faced numerous questions.

To respond to the various requests, within the framework of its operational activities, the Patiente Vertriedung asbl hosts a monthly information and counselling session, where an expert answers your questions.

The next conselling session takes place, tuesday the 3rd of october 2017.

Statuary changes of the CNS - the form S2 is once again issued for crossborder healthcare

According to the ministerial decision from June 26th 2017 the statuary changes of the national health fund were approved and will be valid from 1st of July.

Immediately effective the S2 form, request for prior approval of a cross boarder transfer, will once more be issued for consultations. This means that patients can again get a refund of their travel expenses.

Also in the case of death of a patient the national health fund (CNS) will cover parts of the expenses of the return transport.
